No flood impacts are expected at The Sadlers in Westhampnett or in Chichester City Centre. Persistent rain on Tuesday morning (12/03/2024) is expected to cause the River Lavant to rise by about 5cm. Minor flood impacts will continue. Thereafter, only isolated showers are forecast until the weekend. River levels should begin to fall by 17:00 on 12/03/2024, and slowly continue to fall over the next few days. A band of rain on Saturday afternoon (16/03/2024) could raise river levels again. Further widespread rain Monday evening (9/3/2020) is expected to cause river levels to rise by a small amount (10cm). Minor flood impacts affecting fields and some gardens and rural roads near Sheepwash Lane, are expected to continue, and increase slightly from 22:00 Monday 9/3/2020, before beginning to fall by 06:00 10/3/2020. Smaller amounts of rain are expected Tuesday to Thursday 12/3/2020. River levels are unlikely to fall significantly this week, but they may not rise by much either.
